Safety and Risk Mitigation Organization (SRMO) provides the following trainings:
- Providing Hostile Environment and Safety and Security Training for all WHRDs and HRDs, reporters/media workers, aid workers and civil society activists across Afghanistan.
- Identify the threats, sources of threats, natures of the threats, mitigation strategies, how and who to report it.
- Precautionary measures while travelling in insecure areas by office or private car.
- Precautionary measures while on road to hostile environment and how to approach legal and illegal check-posts and how to identify illegal check-posts on the roads.
- Precautionary measures to mitigate the risk of Roadside IEDs and mines.
- How to mitigate the risk of being kidnapped and how to cope while in captivity.
- Providing self care including stress management, identifying the signs of stress and how to deal with it.
- Providing First Aid training; particularly how to deal with causality in emergency and save lives before reaching to hospital.
- Providing Digital Security training; particularly safe use of digital equipments including computer, internet and mobile; identifying the threats of social media and how to mitigate.
- Providing Trainings for WHRDs and HRDs drivers and security guards.
